Where are the products made?

The majority of Bell and Modern’s products are manufactured by skilled craftsman in Vietnam after which they undergo high quality control inspections before they are shipped out of our warehouse within the United States.

Returns

We understand that not everything works out, and that’s okay. At Bell and Modern, we take our commitment to customer service seriously, and strive to make our returns process as painless as possible. Following these simple steps will ensure that your returns are processed as quickly as possible.

All returned items must be shipped in an undamaged “like new” condition, original packaging and crating materials, for the return to be accepted by Bell and Modern. A return merchandise authorization (RMA) must be requested and approved prior to shipping any products back to Bell and Modern.  All returns will be inspected upon arrival at the warehouse and once approved, the applicable credit will be provided.

The following types of items may not be returned under any circumstance:

  • Items that have been partially or completely installed and/or assembled
  • Modified or altered items
  • Items not in original Bell and Modern packaging and crating materials

Orders refused by customer for reasons excluding damages to the merchandise, manufacturer defect or shipping error, shall be treated as a return and be subject to terms and conditions of the return policy and procedure.

Damage

At Bell and Modern we urge our customers to inspect their purchases for any damages and make note of them immediately upon arrival. Documenting and reporting damages as early as possible helps us improve our service and keep our customers happy. 

Any noted damage to the purchased item must be reported to Bell and Modern within 5 business days of delivery.

For evident transit damages, please refuse the item with the freight company upon delivery.  The majority of minor issues/damages can be replaced by parts sent from Bell and Modern warehouse and do not require a full return of the item. If minor damage is visible upon delivery, please notate same on the Proof of Delivery slip which is executed at the receipt of the delivery. If you are unable inspect the delivery shipment right away, please notate “Subject to inspection, possible concealed damage”.

Buyer’s Remorse

Returns of non-damaged items must be made within 30 days of delivery of merchandise.  All returns must be returned in “new” condition and in undamaged Bell and Modern packaging and crating materials.

Customers in receipt of their purchased item who wish to make a return, must ship the item back via shipping carrier of their choice.  Upon Bell and Modern's receipt, inspection and approval of the returned item, a credit will be issued less a 25% restocking fee and Original Shipping Fee.

Customers cancelling their order after receipt of shipment tracking confirmation and once the item is in transit will receive a credit subject to a 25% restocking fee, Original Shipping Fee and Return Shipping Fee.

Be advised that if a return is delivered after 30 days of purchase, a partial credit shall be issued subject to Bell and Modern's review of the return.

Ordered the Wrong Size/Style

Customers are urged to request a sample prior to placing their orders via support@bellandmodern.com. Bell and Modern shall not be liable for any Customer error in connection with selection of size or product finish.

Customer should confirm all measurements prior to placing an order.  If you receive a wrong sized product, please contact support@bellandmodern.com. Please note if the order received is incorrect due to sizing, customer shall be responsible for the return of the wrong product and the appropriate delivery charges for an exchange, if any.

Defective

All Bell and Modern products are handcrafted by experienced professionals who take ample time and care making each product unique and one of a kind. We strive to provide exceptional quality products as well as customer service.

If the product is notated as defective, a return request must be provided within 30 days of the delivery date. Photos and videos indicating the defect are required for a return or replacement of order. Please also provide the product item SKU # and Batch # found on the packaging of each Bell and Modern item or the Quality Control Sticker found on countertops and cabinets. Once provided, Bell and Modern will investigate the issue and provide resolutions and/or approval of return.

Cancellations

Orders can only be cancelled prior to shipment. Approved order cancellations will receive an email confirmation of status. If the order is not in Bel and Modern’s warehouse and is in route, the shipment cannot be cancelled.

If an order is refused due to a cancellation that was not provided in a timely manner, this shall be deemed a Buyer’s Remorse Return. A 25% restocking fee along with the Original Shipment and Return shipment shall be applied to customer’s credit.

Carrier Fees

If the freight company delivering the item has made multiple unsuccessful attempts to contact you to establish a delivery date and time, the freight company may apply storage fees which will be applied to customer’s order.

If incorrect contact information was provided at the time the order was placed to Bell and Modern or a re-consignment (change of address) is requested after the item is already in transit, customer shall be responsible for any fees incurred as well as delay in the delivery of the order. Bell and Modern hereby reserves the right to charge additional storage fees to the responsible parties.

ABOUT US

Bell and Modern, LLC wholesales luxury bathroom products, including but not limited to faucets, cabinets, vanities, mirrors, bathtubs, and a variety of contemporary bathroom accessories. We pride ourselves in our ability to frequently update our catalog with new products, models, and styles. Our quality and service are unmatched, and we pair that with an incredible selection at impressively reasonable prices.  ORDERING

The standard processing time for an in-stock item is 1-3 business days. For out-of-stock items, Bell and Modern, LLC will notify you and provide an estimated replenish date. All orders must be shipped out within 30 days from invoice date. Orders that are stored in our warehouse after the 30-day period will be subject to a 10% storage fee. After 60 days in our warehouse, the order will be cancelled.

SHIPPING POLICY

Once an order is processed, it is shipped out via LTL or FedEx/UPS, for large and small items respectively. Prepaid freight charges will be added to your invoice, although dealers have the option to use their own freight company. Please make a notation on your purchase order for this option.

Prepaid LTL shipments are curbside delivery unless otherwise requested.

Shipping times vary based on final destination, however the average transit time is 2-4 business days for the East Coast, 3-5 business days for the Midwest and 5-7 business days for the West Coast. Please contact Bell and Modern, Inc directly for all orders outside of the contiguous United States.

RECEIVING SHIPMENT

You will be required to inspect the package upon receipt if there is visible damage. If the visible damage is significant, please refuse the entire shipment. If only a minor part is damaged, accept the shipment and report all issues to Bell and Modern, LLC immediately. Please make sure to note all damages on the Proof of Delivery receipt. All damages must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Failure to comply this policy disqualifies customers from free replacement of parts.

RETURN POLICY

All Bell and Modern, LLC returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) from our Customer Service Department. Absolutely no returns will be accepted without an RMA issued by Bell and Modern, LLC. It is the customer’s responsibility to return all items in brand new condition, undamaged in its original packaging along with product manuals. Returns must be initiated within 30 days of delivery.

In order to issue a refund or replacement, we need to fully inspect the unit. Once the returned item is received and verified to be in “new” condition, a full refund will be issued minus the original freight charges and a 15% restocking fee (if applicable). All returns must be received within 2 weeks of the RMA# issued date.

WARRANTY

All Bell and Modern, LLC products carry a 1-year manufacturer’s limited warranty. Proof of purchase, such as a receipt from the original retailer, will be required for all warranty claims. This warranty covers products that were properly installed by a licensed professional and used properly. If, under those circumstances, a Bell and Modern product has a manufacturer’s defect, Bell and Modern, LLC will provide the parts necessary to resolve the issue free of charge. This includes a full replacement of the product if necessary, solely at the manufacturer’s discretion. If an item is defective upon receipt, do not install and contact Bell and Modern immediately. Defective items that are knowingly installed will not qualify for free replacements.

Damage due to installation error, product abuse or misuse, or use of cleaners containing abrasives, alcohol or other organic solvents — whether performed by a contractor, service company or yourself — are excluded from this warranty. Additionally, defects or damage caused by non-Bell and Modern parts will void this warranty in its entirety.

Bell and Modern, LLC will not be held responsible for labor charges and/or damage incurred during the installation, repair, or replacement of any Bell and Modern product. Furthermore, the manufacturer shall not be held responsible for any incidental or consequential damages, losses and/or injury relating to the item(s).  Except as provided by law, this warranty is in lieu of and excludes all other warranties, conditions and guarantees — whether expressed or implied, statutory or otherwise — including without restriction those of merchantability or of fitness for use.

Depending on jurisdiction, some states, provinces, and countries do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. In such cases, the aforementioned limitations or exclusions may not apply. This warranty affords you specific legal rights; you may have other rights which vary from state to state, province to province, and country to country.

All Bell and Modern products (with the exception of our outdoor firepits) are designed for indoor use only.  All warranties are non-transferable. Bell and Modern, LLC will supply proper instructions for making warranty claims. Please contact support to start the warranty process.

PARTS REQUESTS

Photos of the damaged/defective part or item may be required to fulfill parts requests. Said photos are necessary to determine the proper resolution and to file damage claims with the shipping company.

If photos cannot be submitted for any reason, the damaged/defective part must be shipped to our warehouse at the customer’s expense. The part will be carefully inspected and necessary action will be taken based on the inspection, including full reimbursement of all expenses if necessary.

Issues with missing parts must be reported to Bell and Modern, LLC within 48 hours. All Bell and Modern parts carry a 90-day limited warranty.

SALES TAX

Bell and Modern, LLC is located in the state of New York. Sales tax will be applied to all orders that are A) drop shipped to NY or B) picked up from our NY warehouse (unless a resale certificate for the respective state is submitted). Furthermore, you may be located in a state where they have their own sales tax laws so please consult with a tax advisor for more information.
